oh for the love of all the is holy, i have perhaps the worst luck EVER!!!! as u may know i booked tickets for oxford last night, as i had pretty much given up on ever finding a job as lets face it we have three weeks to go til the end of summer. so what bloody well happened this morning, a recruitment agency phoned me offering two weeks work at a newspaper company (the 3rd biggest in the country!) - ARGGGGGGHHHHHHHGHGHGHGGHGHHHHH needless to say i was pissed off, as i could have gone to oxford for three months, but no i had to chose next weekend.
after thinking it over for like 5 mins as the women was hurrying me, iv decided to take the job as its £6.50 an hour, its in the centre of edinburgh and i really need office experience if im ever gonna get work next year - as she said its only going to get more competitive with each summer. so iv had to email alex and tell her, cancel my tickets for oxford and phone katy to tell her as well. plus i now cant see lauren on tuesday or see the 'popular' people on thursday, who invited me out clubbing etc. on the plus il will have £££ which is good.
my head is spinning and i want to go to my bed and sleep forever, TTFN.

On the front page of today's scotland on sunday is an article all about Pagan Soc. in St Andrews!! Haven't had a chance to read it as yet, but i will cut it out and will send it to Julie, as she's the only pagan i know the address of! I'll wait til you've moved in case this 'important' piece of post arrives after you've left Tulsa.
in other news, iv done very little. the nagging from my parents to get a job is at an all time high, as we approach the one year anniversary of my starting marks and spencer. so il phone the recruitment people tomorrow and arrange an appointment for sometime this week.
the parents leave for their holidays on thursday, so il be able to surf online for however long i want, which will be nice. although the odds of me forgetting to feed the cat are pretty high. feel free to send me reminders, as i fear wee Maisie might get rather hungry over the next two weeks, whoops!
i was in a converted castle yesterday just outside Dollar, it was amazing! they had turned the great hall into a huge living room thing and were playing Braveheart music it was hilarious, in a weird way! unfortunately dad is refusing to shell out £2 million to buy it for me, ah well maybe if i get a high paid summer job! Il keep everyone posted when i reach 2 mill. - probably around the year 2387 A.D.!

| Your World View | You are a moralist with conventional ideas, which some people would call old-fashioned. You probably think that most of the world falls badly below your standards. Your inhibitions and sense of guilt are in the way of your happiness.
You think that people tend to use sex for evil, as a weapon. Your parents probably played a big part in the formation of such a guilt complex as yours. Your mind is in chains, and it's time you did something to free it. |

the ipod has done something weird. it was fine whilst i was on the train then it froze. so i bashed away at buttons until some lines appeared. then it went blank. now the laptop can't read the ipods files and the ipod says it has no songs yet the memory is still being used by the 951 songs i originally had on it! i got a uk phone number for apple i intend to phone them on my day off and see if my wee ipod needs to go to ipod hospital. please sends good vibes for a quick recovery.
this is all most distressing *sobs :-(
worked for 10 hours today, so sleepy, also working tomorrow and again on Sunday good grief!
my sister graduated from Stirling Uni with a distinction in Publishing, she moves to oxford on Sunday, all very hectic around here!
